New Beginning Holiness Church was founded in 1996 by the Late Elder Joseph Smith. (Also the founder of Sunrise Holiness Church in Bonham, TX) Not knowing that he would be called home the next year, Pastor Joseph opened the doors to a “New Beginning” for everyone.
He and his wife, Pastor Joyce, were the overseers of both Sunrise and New Beginning Holiness Churches. They would alternate from Sunday to Sunday as to who would be at each location. This was actually a transition stage for what was about to come. When the Lord called Elder Joseph home, he left instructions for Pastor Joyce to carry on. With this direct word from the Lord, Pastor Joyce knew she had no other choice but to obey the will of God
Knowing that she will be oppressed and persecuted by the people, Pastor Joyce continues in the faith. By her action of obedience, the Lord has given his approval time and time again. Many have come to New Beginning to visit and have left delivered, healed, and set free. They can truly say that they will never be the same again.

We believe that God has New Beginning Holiness Church to be the church that minister to the needs of its members, as well as those in our community. Jesus Christ came to serve (to help others) not to be served. At New Beginning Holiness Church our goal is to serve others as Christ. We believe that Jesus’ example should be evident in the life of every Christian. As His children, we should be leaders in meeting the needs of our family, church, community, city, state, country and beyond. This can only be done by becoming a servant to all. Selfishness is evident everywhere we go, It's time for God's people to step forward and be unselfish examples of Christ-like love.
